Peanut Butter Frosting
Ok so before you read anymore I must warn you that this frosting is extremely addictive! I'm not talking about a dessert you eat a lot of at once....I'm talking about a frosting that you'll dream about, talk about all the time, and want to put on every food possible. My Grandma first made this peanut butter frosting a few years ago when we were celebrating the Summer birthdays out at our camp. It was probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. Everyone wanted more of the frosting. Since then I've put in on a lot of foods besides cake. I've put it on fruit, cookies, ice cream, and to be completely honest one time I froze the frosting into bite size pieces and just at it like than.
No shame. At all.
What You Need:
> 1 and 1/2 bags of confectionery sugar
> 3/4 cup of peanut butter (Any type you want)
> 1 stick of butter
> About 1 1/2 cup Milk
Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Directions:
The easiest way to make this recipe is to first melt the butter and mix it together with the milk. Put this mixture aside in a small bowl. In a blender add the peanut butter and confectionery sugar. Pour the butter/milk mixture into the blender. Blend on low for about 2 minutes. If you are having trouble with the frosting being too clumpy, scrape the sides of the blender and pour in a bit more milk. Keep blending until you get the consistency you want. Scrape frosting into a container and store with an air tight seal. Then put the frosting on whatever food you want, just don't forget to be creative and
save some for me!
***Tips***
> Try using almond butter instead of peanut butter! <
> This frosting is great blended together with cookie dough
ice cream and a bit of milk for a sweet milkshake. <
